Los cafés científicos. Divulgación del conocimiento en entornos informales

Resumen
En esta investigación analizamos las características de los denominados «cafés científicos» a partir de una muestra seleccionada de este tipo de eventos de comunicación informal del conocimiento en España, México y Líbano. Para ello, utilizamos metododolgía de análisis cuantitivo y cualitativo a partir de los datos recopilados mediante un formulario cumplimentado por los gestores, los ponentes y los asistentes a la muestra de eventos analizados. Los resultados de la investigación permiten determinar las características genéricas de este tipo de eventos y detectar los problemas comunes a todos ellos. En nuestras conclusiones se enumeran las sugerencias de mejora pertinentes como resultado del análisis y se incide en la necesidad de promover este tipo de eventos de divulgación del conocimiento y su impacto en el discurso social.
