Análisis de la producción científica sobre educación stem en la Web of Science

Resumen
La educación STEM (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas) día a día es esencial por la evolución y avance tecnológico, porque su integración en el aula de clase permite preparar individuos competentes para hacer frente a los retos de la cuarta revolución industrial y las variaciones continuas del mercado laboral actual. El objetivo del manuscrito es analizar la tendencia de producción científica sobre educación STEM a nivel global en la base de datos científica de la Web of Science, mediante indicadores bibliométricos. La investigación es de tipo cualitativa, descriptiva, transversal utilizando un enfoque bibliométrico para analizar las tendencias de publicación. Los resultados presentan indicadores de impacto, producción, visibilidad y colaboración. Identificando un ritmo de producción creciente entre 2009 y 2021, siendo, Estados Unidos el país mayormente productivo, la mayoría de publicaciones se encuentran en el primer y segundo cuartil, las palabras claves prevalentes son “Educaction STEM”, “Science”, “Education”, “Students”, “Mathematic”.
