Political participation model on Twitter: an analysis of the publications of President Alejandro Giammattei and user responses

Abstract
Twitter as a space for communications between politicians and citizens is an invaluable source of data on users active participation (engagement). By applying a text analytics approach to a series of posts between March 2020 and February 2021, we also explore the social interaction arising from posts from the presidential account @DrGiammattei and direct responses from citizens.
The results proven citizen participation from which arise an endless number of topics of interest on the social debate in the political life of the country; among them, the use of false profiles, the credibility of the President, the lack of transparency in the delivery of official information, the justice system involved in political scandals, and the growing attack on the press. Our goal is to deepen the dynamics of Twitter to expose and debate realities.
