Abstract
The text focuses on three main moments, the first, on how YouTube works so that content creators monetize, the second, the metrics as obfuscation of YouTubers and the third, the neomania that is stimulated by product reviews as a generation of trending and consumption that cause the compulsive buying disorder known as CBT in video generators and expectants. The methodology used is monographic, going through authors such as Donald W. Black, Baudrillard, Ravinovich, Pérez Rufí, among others to understand the sociological, psychological and technological implications that occur on digital social platforms. Among the consequences that crystallize are collecting that causes an emotional charge and a discharge of dopamine due to purchases, misinformation due to the lack of regulations or standards and the overload of stimulating content oriented towards product purchases.
