Body positive on Instagram An analysis of body acceptance modes from the intersectional roulette

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the ways of propagation of Body Positive discourse by the fat influencers in Instagram. For this, a contextualization of the fat body and beauty is performed, a survey about what is the Body Positive movement, and how the Instagram platform is important in its propagation. At the end, an analysis of the profiles of two bloggers in Instagram is made through the intersectional roulette methodology, revealing different ways of propagation of the Body Positive, because no matter how the speeches are about the same theme, they are based on the intersectional-discursive formation of each subject.
