Integral communication perspectives for the organizations in Mexico: a vision of their leaders

Abstract

In the field of organizational communication or integral communication for organizations, as it is called in this research, there is a wide concern of the professionals whom exercise it about the importance of demonstrating their impact and generated value to the Organizations. Some authors have been carried out researches trying to identify which aspects, products or processes that can be identified as those that generate the greatest impact on the results of the organization. However, there is an opportunity in the analysis about the relationship between the results obtained and the characteristics of these communication professionals and their qualities or priorities as communication leaders in organizations. This article show the main results of a qualitative research carried out in Mexico by interviewing 25 professionals in integral communication for organizations. The results allow us to identify how they are leading their projects, what are their priorities as communication leaders taking their habitus as the central concept of their decision making process.
